Domaine Fourrier - Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy

Based in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Fourrier is one of Burgundy’s most revered producers, celebrated for its pure, terroir-driven expressions of Pinot Noir. Led by Jean-Marie Fourrier since 1994, the domaine combines deep family heritage with a modern, minimalist approach to winemaking.
The estate farms around 9 hectares of vineyards across Gevrey-Chambertin and neighboring Côte de Nuits appellations, including outstanding parcels in Clos Saint-Jacques Premier Cru and the rare Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru. Many vines are exceptionally old, contributing depth, complexity and natural balance.
In the cellar, intervention is kept to a minimum: native yeast fermentations, gentle extraction, limited new oak, and long élevage on lees. Only fruit from vines over 30 years old is bottled under the domaine name. The result is wines of remarkable clarity, finesse and authenticity, prized for their elegance, precision and ability to age gracefully.
Domaine Fourrier today stands as a benchmark for classic Gevrey-Chambertin -quietly powerful wines that speak clearly of place and vintage.
