Cave Julien Cécillon is a boutique winery located in the Northern Rhône Valley, founded in 2011 by Julien Cécillon and his wife Nancy Kerschen. Julien comes from a long family lineage of winegrowers in Tournon-sur-Rhône, while Nancy brings international experience from the United States, New Zealand, and California.
The estate is based near Saint-Jean-de-Muzols and works with vineyards across key Northern Rhône appellations, including Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, and Saint-Péray, as well as select Vin de France parcels. The terroirs are predominantly granite-based, with steep slopes and strong Rhône influence.
Viticulture is organic and sustainably farmed, with minimal intervention in the cellar. Fermentations use native yeasts, and élevage is carried out mainly in neutral oak to preserve purity and site expression.
The wines focus on Syrah, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier, offering a style that combines freshness, elegance, and precision, while remaining deeply rooted in Northern Rhône tradition.
Despite the winery’s young age, Cave Julien Cécillon has earned strong recognition for producing authentic, terroir-driven wines with excellent balance and aging potential.
